Miss Tough Enough

To Wear Pink

Four States

Rodeo Queen

Tacey Raye Raulerson, 9 year old blind, cancer survivor, is the 2008 Miss Tough Enough to Wear Pink Four States Rodeo Queen.  Tacey was awarded a Billy Cook custom saddle, Silver Montana crown and trophy buckle, Black Hills Gold necklace, custom chaps along with several custom clothes, boots and a black hat.

Tacey had the privilege of participating in the grand entry of the Four States Rodeo, being escorted in the style show by Miss Rodeo America, interviewing the Four States queen contestants, performing at the style show and assisting in crowning the new Four States Rodeo Queen.

Tacey is an avid rodeo fan!  She loves to attend rodeos and related events.  She really enjoys barrel racing, team roping and bull riding.  It is very intriguing to watch people stare in wonder as this small, blind child explains the scoring and particulars of each event to grown adults!

Tacey rides a retired thoroughbred race horse named Hope Runs Deep.  Tacey and Hope are working on Western Pleasure patterns in the dream of participating in rodeos and other rodeo queen pageants.  They enjoy play days and practicing together.

Tacey is available for appearances/participation in parades, rodeos, Cowboy Churches and other events in Texas and the Four State area.  To schedule an appearance of Tacey and Hope, click on the Contact link to the left.
