Donations
Some prefer to make donations of cash. However, we realize that some prefer for their donations to be used a specific way. Also, we are bound by our morals, tax restrictions and laws to use the money donated to this ministry in the way intended and within acceptable use as deemed by the donors, laws and God. For that reason, we have set up donation types so each person can determine how his/her donation is used.
Each donation is tax-deductible. A tax-deductible receipt will be mailed to you for your tax purposes.
General Donations: These donations are held in a general account that allows us to access them for numerous needs. If you don’t have a preference for the utilization of your donation, this is the best category. These funds will be put into the specific categories below as the need arises.
Medical: These donations are used for medical expenses. (doctors, hospitals, medicines, necessary medical devices, necessary therapeutic devices and expenses)
Travel: These donations are used to pay travel expenses as related to our ministry or medical necessity (mileage, tolls, parking, travel expenses, rooming, food, NOT family vacations!!!!).
Outreach: These donations are used for supplies and materials necessary to share Tacey’s story. (posters, handouts, visual aids)
Office Expenses: These donations are used for office expenses (supplies, telephones, postage)
Education: These donations are used for Tacey’s educational needs. (specific technology, canes, books)
Cancer Research/Awareness: These donations are disbursed to recognized cancer support organizations (American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation)
Emergency Assistance for Others: These donations are distributed to families with a financial need due to childhood cancer.
Horse: These donations are used to provide Hope’s needs (veterinarians, farriers, feed)
